Symfony Live London logoSensioLabs UK is delighted to be hosting the second annual Symfony Live London, taking place in the scenic Glazier’s Hall, London Bridge on 19th and 20th September.
The conference promises to be just as successful as last year’s Symfony Live, watch the highlights here and if you read further on we’ve got a ticket up for grabs, don’t miss out.

Workshop Day – Thursday 19th September

Thursday will be a hands-on, practical workshop day. You can choose from one of two workshops, enabling you to get the best out of Symfony, whether you’re a novice or an experienced Symfony developer.

In an Introduction to Symfony2, you’ll learn all the basics of the Symfony framework. From installation, to configuration and request management, and you’ll create your first MVC application with Symfony.

In Going Further with Symfony2, you’ll take your Symfony knowledge to the next level. Starting with some of the more advanced features, you’ll learn about dependency injection container config, HTTP caching, doctrine integration and more.

Conference Day – Friday 20th September

This year we’ve fitted even more into the schedule so you can get the most out of the event. The conference will start with a few opening words from me then we’ll kick off straight into the main event.

The conference day will consist of two tracks of very technical talks from some well known speakers in the Symfony scene and the wider PHP community. There are a variety of topics covering everything from the development process to integrating Drupal 8 into Symfony2. Then there’ll be a ‘game-changing’ keynote from the creator of Symfony and major contributor to the project, Fabien Potencier.

After two days of intense learning it’s time to relax with your fellow attendees at the conference social. This will be your chance to meet with other Symfony developers and the conference speakers.

Win a ticket

We have one ticket to give away to a lucky reader. For your chance to win, simply leave us a comment telling us why you think you deserve that ticket. Make sure you include your email address so we can let you know if you’re a winner! We’ll randomly draw a winner when we close the competition on September 12th.

If you’re not selected, there’s still time to get your hands on a conference ticket, but be quick they’re going fast.
